Using only knot- and crack-free European fir wood from sustainably sourced trees to guarantee a warp-resistant structure. The canvas itself, with a depth of 32mm, is made from carefully chosen Italian medium-grain, heavyweight cotton, multiply primed with acid-free gesso, and expertly hand-stretched over pure fir wood stretchers. The stretching process ensures a taut, tear-free surface. Canvases exceeding 300mm x 400mm come with resin self-locking wedges, allowing artists to adjust tension as needed.
