Gamblin Neo Megilp is a contemporary version of Maroger. Gamblin Neo Megilp is a soft gel medium used to maintain the body of oil colours, increase transparency and flow, and impart a smooth, silky feel. Neo Megilp dries at a moderate rate and remains workable for hours. Neo Megilp gives colours a satin gloss.
- When mixed into oil colours Neo-Megilp makes them richer and deeper and finished paintings have a luminous glow!
- Neo-Megilp will not darken or crack over time.
- Gamblin recommends using Gamsol or a small amount of Refined Linseed Oil for thinning
