The Golden Acrylic Ground for Pastels will apply a translucent acrylic ground to paper, board, or any surface you wish to pastel on. Golden Pastel Ground creates a toothy surface similar to papers used with pastel and chalk. For an even rougher texture, Fine or Coarse Pumice Gel can be added. Golden Pastel Ground for Pastel can also be tinted with acrylic colours & is a 100% acrylic medium designed to prepare surfaces for the application of pastels, charcoal and other art media where a coarse tooth is desired. It contains finely ground sand in a pure acrylic emulsion.
