Langridge Oil Glazing Gel

Langridge Oil Glazing Gel is is a fast drying medium that gives a lasting brilliance to oils. The soft gel consistency is designed for more robust glazing. Langridge Oil Glazing Gel will extend colours whilst holding brush marks.Langridge Oil Glazing Gel can be used as an all round flow medium for extending oil colours. The glazing gel was developed as a multi purpose medium to be added to oil colours in quantities at the discretion of the artist. Langridge Oil Glazing Gel is fast drying to allow for the rapid build up of paint layers. Langridge Oil Glazing Gel is a thixotropic medium. Its’ natural state is as a soft gel and when mixed with paint and applied vigorously with brushes or palette knife, the medium becomes highly fluid allowing easy brushing. As soon as the medium stops being moved it immediately ‘sets up’ and does not drip or lose its position.
