Staedtler Sketching pencils offer high quality Graphite which has a special lead formulation containing a high proportion of carbon  so the user is capable of achieving a wide range of the deepest black tones in their artwork. Use the Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils for drawing on paper and matt drawing film. To complement the pencils, Staedtler Pigment Liners are also included.
